Cerebral Palsy Mid Staffordshire is looking for a qualified Tutor to deliver a 10 week IT course for adults with disabilities. The successful applicant would be required to plan and prepare bespoke and challenging IT activities appropriate for adult learners with a wide range of disabilities. You must be able to work on your own initiative to develop stimulating sessions based on individuals’ wants and needs. You will need to be enthusiastic, innovative and empathetic; you will also need patience and persistence, as learning new skills can take time. You would be supported in the classroom by a learner support assistant.
Minimum qualifications required –
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training
- Level 3 or above in IT
- Safeguarding and Prevent Duty training (can be acquired online)
